VS.
The other day Ella, Carly and I went out to Walmart to give Joseph an empty house to sleep in (he works graveyard) and to get them out and doing something. They both received $5 from their Gi Gi to get a Valentine's present so I let them pick out something and then let them just look/play with toys. We had the time, we were just messing around. Well Carly is at that age where she wants to get out of the cart seat and move around. Since she can't walk yet I just put her in the basket part of the cart so she could at least stand up and stretch her legs. We went from toy isle to toy isle. When we found ourselves in the baby doll section Carly was in Heaven. She is in LOVE with baby dolls. She already has a million and can't get enough of them. So I handed her about 12 dolls that she was reaching for (more like 5 but 12 is more dramatic) and the cart was full of dolls but she just wanted more. Ella asked me a question so when I turned to look at her, Carly took her opportunity to reach for just one more doll. (I know, greedy huh?) I turned right as she was reaching and went to get her but the cart was in my way and I couldn't get to her fast enough before she started teetering on the edge of the cart and took a nose dive to her death. I swear it was all in slow motion and yes, it was as awful as it sounds. She hit head first on that really hard Walmart floor, then rolled onto her back. She was in shock and (not thinking) I scooped her up as fast as I could and just held her to me so tight. She finally caught her breath and belted out one of those awful cries. Worse than a cry, it was a silent cry that turned into a blood curdling scream. My heart was just racing trying to figure out what to do. So as soon as I could get her calmed down I pulled out my cell and called her Dr. They said to take her to the ER. I did and long story short she's just fine. No concussion, fractures, or even a bump! That girl has a tough head!
Lesson Learned: Follow the warning signs and don't put your kid in the basket of the cart unless you want them to be scarred for life. (physically or mentally)

And Again...

Ok, So after doing my hair I realized I could see some roots still that weren't all the way colored so I thought I'd touch it up plus it wasn't as dark as I wanted it so I got a darker color and decided to redo it. Now it's a little darker than I thought but I still like it. Which one do you all like better? Lighter or darker?

Look What I Did!
*don't worry about it not being the hottest shot of me, I've been running errands all day and finally started to put it up on the blog so I snapped the picture just now and had to pull my hair out of it's pony tail.
I've been contemplating going dark for about 2 years now. I've had blond hair my whole life and I finally did it. I was a little nervous, well, a lot nervous but I did it and I kinda like it. It's a nice change. I'm still trying to get a little used to how to do my make up differently now and what to do with my pale skin but I like it.
